The Indian home ministry will gradually ease visa and travel restrictions (except e-visas, tourist visas and medical visas), the international Asian news service (ANI) said on October 22.

The message shows that holders of Indian origin card (PIO) and Indian overseas citizenship card (OCI), as well as other foreign nationals visiting India for any purpose other than a tourist visa, can enter the country through an authorized airport or port.
